How lenders decide
Most lenders cap total EMIs at 50 to 60 percent of net income (called FOIR). Tenure is limited by your retirement age. A co-applicant adds their income to yours. Credit score decides the rate and, below 650, whether the file is accepted at all. This checker uses those rules with typical rates; the lender's own policy is final.
